Experience Asbury through residential academic camps for high school students.
Join us this summer for one (or two) residential high school camps that focus on a variety of content areas. Students choose one subject area to study for the entire week and enjoy academic sessions led by experienced faculty and talented college students multiple times each day. Students will get a five-day, college-like experience that includes all food, lodging, supplies, evening activities and hands-on exploration of an academic area in the context of a Christian community. We can’t wait to explore with you this summer!

*Students attending Film II or Acting II must have attended Film I or Acting I, respectively

Camp Fees
Total Cost
Total Cost: $550
This includes a $100 non-refundable deposit at time of registration. You will receive an email after you register with a link to pay the remaining $450 balance. Upon payment, a receipt will be emailed to the student email address that we have listed on the registration form. Payment in full is due no later than June 1, 2024. If you register after June 1, payment is due within one week of registration (or at time of check-in if registering less than one week before camp begins).

Week 1 Camps: June 3-7, 2024
ImpactU: Acting I
During this five-day camp, you will focus on the fundamentals of good acting for both stage and film, learn from Asbury faculty and develop friendships with other campers, all while having a blast!
ImpactU: Film I
Join industry professionals for this five-day intensive utilizing Asbury’s cutting-edge Media Communication facilities. Film I provides an introduction to the art and skill of filmmaking.
ImpactU: Botany & Environmental Stewardship
Join Asbury professors for a week of engaging and experiential, outdoor learning of our natural world focused on the rich and biologically diverse world of plants and ways we all can become model stewards of our environment.
ImpactU: Education
Learn from some of Kentucky’s best teachers how to put the joy in teaching. Design units of instruction to include technology, resources, assessments, activities, bulletin boards, etc.
ImpactU: Equine
Hit the open trails this summer! Join the team from Asbury’s renowned Equine Program for five days of hands-on learning. You’ll not only ride on Asbury’s riverside trails, but also learn the dynamics of horsemanship and equine service & ministry. **This camp is full**
ImpactU: Creative Writing
Learn the basics of fiction writing – like how to create a great title, a great character, or a great ending. Have fun and make friends while you hone your writing skills.
ImpactU: Sales & Marketing
Learn the fundamentals of selling and develop a key skill set that can be of help in virtually any future career. We will end the week with a sales competition to practice all you have learned!
Week 2 Camps: June 10-14, 2024
ImpactU: Acting II
Deepen your acting skills while working on auditions, scene and character work, and commercials, and learn to self-tape like a pro. Pre-requisite: Acting for Stage and Camera I.
ImpactU: Coding
Join us for an introduction to computer programming with the Python language as we dive into software control structures, data structures, modular programming strategies, and object-oriented software design. You’ll be coding alongside our professors and students in no time!
ImpactU: Film II
Join industry professionals for this five-day intensive utilizing Asbury’s cutting-edge Media Communication facilities. Film II is an advanced camp that builds on the basics, so previous experience in film is helpful.

Youth Becoming Leaders
Students apply and are accepted into this special camp that equips high school students for theologically-guided living and decision making as they grow in becoming leaders in their own sphere of influence and society. This two week program elevates a youth's ability to understand their faith and their call to ministry. Students who attend YBL work with a mentor before, during, and after to learn and grow through studying scriptures together and working on a community project.The world needs better leaders. Youth Becoming Leaders is aimed to equip students to be the leaders the church needs.
