Kaityln Wortham ’22 graduated Asbury with a Psychology major and now works to help parents and children through clinical psychology.
“I am currently a third year doctoral student in the Auburn University Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program, where I’m studying to become a clinical psychologist. I work with individuals across the lifespan, from toddlers to adults, and I specialize in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. My education at Asbury prepared me extremely well to be where I am today. My psychology classes were challenging, rigorous, and thought-provoking, which helped prepare me for graduate school. I absolutely would not be where I am today if it had not been for the encouragement and support of my psychology professors at Asbury. The knowledge, expertise, and guidance they provided throughout my time as a student at Asbury gave me the confidence to pursue graduate-level education in psychology. They also modeled very well what it means to integrate being a follower of Christ into psychology and science. I am endlessly grateful for my education at Asbury and for the support of the psychology department!”
