The Asbury University Music Department has an exciting lineup of performances this week, showcasing the talents of students and ensembles.
On Monday, March 24, senior percussionist Charlie Knox ’25 took the stage for his highly anticipated recital in Jameson Recital Hall. This special performance highlights his years of dedication and musical growth.
On Thursday, March 27, enjoy two concerts featuring a variety of ensembles. At 11 a.m., the Chamber Ensemble will perform in the Donaldson Choral Room (MC111), offering an intimate musical experience. Later, at 9 p.m., the Jazz Ensemble and Handbell Choir will bring an exciting mix of rhythm and harmony to the Rader Student Center.
The week concludes with the Spring Choral Concert on Friday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Jameson Recital Hall, featuring the Chorale and Women’s Choir.
The Asbury University Music Department offers a major in Music (with emphases in composition and arranging, instrumental performance, pre-music therapy, vocal performance, and church music leadership), a major in Music Education (with emphases in general music education, instrumental music education, vocal/choral education, and combined instrumental/vocal education), and a minor in Music.
