Juan Gonzalez serves as Hispanic/Latino Student Specialist at Asbury University. As a member of the Student Life team and the Admissions team, he has the privilege of helping and guiding Hispanic/Latino students through the application and enrollment processes and provides them guidance and support during their college journey at Asbury.
He is from Mexico and received his bachelor’s degree from Instituto Biblico: La Buena Tierra in Saltillo, Mexico and his MA degree from Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, MS. Juan is an ordained minister with the Church of God (Anderson, IN).
Juan has a passion for education, ministry, worship, discipleship, and helping create spaces where people can encounter Jesus and grow in their relationship with God. When he is not working, you likely will find him exercising, reading, writing, creating, gardening, or most likely spending time with his lovely wife Julianne Burnett.
