Audio Production Emphasis
The audio production emphasis prepares students for work in the field of audio, whether in the music industry, the film industry, or in the church. Asbury’s new media production building includes a fully professional recording studio, and students receive ample opportunity to gain valuable studio experience. Courses focus on both the technical aspect of recording, and the creative aspect of musical arrangement and production. Due to our close proximity to Nashville, students have the opportunity to intern within the music industry. The recording studio is also used to create sound tracks for film and television. Audio Professor Barry Blair (original Audio Adrenaline guitarist) has had substantial experience as a recording artist, record producer, audio engineer, and musician.
