There are four (4) items needed for international students attempting to enter Asbury University as First Time Freshman.

- Secondary School Transcripts – An official sealed copy of your transcripts must be sent to Asbury University directly from your secondary institution. If your transcripts are not in English, then a literal translated copy will need to be sent also.
- Standardized Test Score – English Proficiency Tests: International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) and the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) – International students must demonstrate their English proficiency to Asbury University. Applicants must present a minimum score of 80on the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 550 on the paper-based TOEFL before they can be admitted. For International English Language Testing Service (IELTS), applicants must present a minimum score of 6.5.

For those that English is their first language or have matriculated from a secondary education program taught in the English language and have maintained at least a “B” in an English class, may substitute the SAT or ACT exams for the TOEFL/IELTS. These scores must still meet the minimum requirement for admission to Asbury University.
- Statement of Financial Responsibility – Applicants must submit a confidential Statement of Financial Responsibility showing ability to pay for their education at Asbury University. They must also submit a certified document from their parents’ bank stating the current balance in USD (dollars).
