Asbury University Scholarships & Grants

See Our Scholarships

Our commitment is to help make higher education an affordable reality for students — which is why we’ve established a wide range of merit-based scholarships recognizing outstanding academic achievement, as well as other application-based scholarship opportunities.

Please be sure to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) so that you may receive the maximum aid for which you are eligible.

Federal and State Grants

Federal and state grant programs are available to those who complete the FAFSA and qualify on a need basis.

Work Study/Campus Employment

Asbury University provides numerous opportunities for students to work on campus and earn extra money to pay for personal expenses throughout the year. Students will receive a paycheck every two weeks. Eligibility for the federal college work-study program is determined by the FAFSA.

Church Match Program

The Church Match program was established to encourage churches to support students with scholarship aid. Asbury University will match scholarships awarded by a church, mission agency, or other Christian service organization up to $1000 per academic year. For more information about the program, including a printable application and scholarship deadlines, please visit the link above.

Loans

Loan programs are available to help assist you in financing your education. These programs include federal, private and institutional loans. To find out more about the different loan options available, please visit the link above or contact the Financial Aid Office at (800) 888-1818, x2195. Students who wish to be eligible for federal loans must file the FAFSA.

Outside Scholarships

An outside scholarship is any money you receive from a source other than one of those listed above. This can range from a local organization to state or federal aid. Please note that this aid must be counted by the Financial Aid Office as a resource, so be sure to make us aware of any money coming in from an outside source and be sure to turn it in to our office in a timely fashion.
