Job Purpose:
The Executive Assistant to the President is a highly visible and impactful role responsible for relieving the President of operational and administrative details and performs competent, diverse, and complex administrative and office management functions that require recurring contact with senior leadership, board members, faculty, staff, students, alumni, donors, and external constituencies; a thorough knowledge of the University mission, policies, procedures, and operations; and an understanding of the University’s role within the community. As the President’s principal aide, the Executive Assistant to the President serves as a liaison between the President’s Office, those the office serves, and those who engage with the office and demonstrates decorum, diplomacy, and tact along with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. In managing the President’s fluid schedule along with office events, board meetings, activities, budgets, projects, correspondence, records, and front-desk reception, this professional exhibits confidentiality, initiative, independent judgment, and a commitment to excellence. An important part of the position is supporting the ministry and mission of the University and advancing the academic excellence and spiritual vitality of our University and students. Each employee plays an important role in the development of the Christian faith in our students.

This is a full-time on-site position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5 p.m. Position is required to work some evenings and weekends for University and
Presidential events.
Travel:
Minimal travel is expected for this position.
