If you studied French, Spanish or Latin in high school, you should take the Language Placement Exam. The purpose of the exam is to assist you in starting your required language study at the level most appropriate for you.
Language Placement Exams will be offered only on Friday, January 10, at 1:30 p.m.
The test takes approximately one hour, is diagnostic only, costs nothing, and never appears on your permanent record. Your score is used solely to let you and your academic advisor know which course you should register for.
Students who intend to fulfill their foreign language requirement in French, Spanish or Latin and have prior experience in that language should take the exam.
