Education Specialist Degree Requirements

Each new cohort begins in the fall semester. We offer Level 1 as a 30 credit hour certification program and Level 2 upon completion of six additional credit hours. Candidates may pursue an Ed.S. degree by completing a one credit hour research project.

Depending on your need our Educational Specialist degree can be broken down into:

  • Level 1 certification (30 credit hours)
  • Level 2 certification (only 6 additional credit hours)
  • Ed.S. (1 credit hour research project)

The Ed.S. degree students qualify for federal financial aid.
