Noel Endicott ’19 Marpna is a fifth grade teacher and shares: “I had many helpful and practical opportunities during my time as a student, such as being familiar with how to do a running record, plan lessons, collaborate with others, dissect state standards, and to create goals for myself. I think the most helpful part of my time in the school of education were the GATE interviews. Asbury brings in real teachers, principals, and superintendents to interview teacher candidates, and it helped build my confidence for interviews and gave me connections with local schools. I got my first teaching job from one of those connections!”
