Built in 1993, the George E. Luce Physical Activities Center features multiple basketball and volleyball courts, an eight-lane swimming pool, an indoor running track, a rock climbing gym, a golf simulator, two racquetball courts, a weight room, locker rooms, physical therapy facilities, and athletic training facilities.
The Luce Center not only serves as a hub for Asbury University Athletics but also as a fitness and health center available to the community of Wilmore, Jessamine County, and the surrounding areas.
The Luce Center is also equipped with classrooms, faculty offices, and physiology laboratory facilities and outdoor facilities such as soccer, baseball, softball, and cross country fields. On the site of the Luce Center is also an eight-court tennis facility as well as an archery range, a challenge course, and an equine center.
The center was named in honor of George E. Luce and made possible through the generosity of his wife, Willouise.
