Dr. Evan Duszynski ’11 returned to Asbury University in 2017 to work in Student Life. In 2022, Evan transitioned to the Center for Academic Excellence where he serves as the Assistant Director of Student Success. Evan’s research interests include several student success topics, including institutional action, student retention, high-impact practices, and teaching pedagogies. As part of this role, he oversees the First Year Experience (FYE) program, teaches first year seminar courses, and manages the Academic Coaching program. Prior to his return to Asbury University, Evan was a Kentucky public school teacher for six years—teaching high school biology. Outside of Asbury, Evan coaches high school soccer and worships at The Source, A United Methodist Church in Lexington, KY.
