Dr. Glenn M. Harden is a native of Wilmore, Kentucky, his parents having served in the local public school system. He recently completed his PhD in Political Science (International Relations) at the University of Kentucky (2021) and holds degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary (MA Theological Studies, 2011), George Mason University (MA History, 2001), and The George Washington University (BA International Affairs 1992). He loves to teach and has taught high school and college, including at Asbury University as a Lecturer since the Fall of 2019. Glenn engages in both quantitative and qualitative research, and his current research focus is the transnational diffusion of human trafficking policy. From 2003 to 2015, Glenn and his wife lived in the Dominican Republic where among many other activities and ministries, they also engaged in the heart- breaking work of dog rescue. Glenn is a “high church Methodist”, currently attends Wilmore Anglican church, and is an oblate of St. Brigid of Kildare Monastery, a dispersed Benedictine-Methodist monastic community.
