Rough timeframes
- for a fall reassignment request, requirements are due by Mar. 1
- for a spring reassignment request, requirements are due by Oct. 1
Eligibility
- Full-time faculty (3-year rolling, tenure-track, tenured)
- Those with a contract in hand OR a record of published scholarship
- Currently engaged in writing a book (intense writing period, or sorting through revisions)
Needed for consideration (all required, 1-2 pages)
- Duration of time requested, e.g., one 3.0 course for each of fall and/or spring semester(s)
- Publisher (with copy of contract if that is the point of eligibility claimed; vanity press will not be considered)
- Project description:
- Working title
- Abstract
- Project status
- Interactions with department chair about course/section coverage
