Asbury University is looking for a qualified candidate for a full-time, tenure track faculty position in ESL Education.
POSITION: A search is in process to secure a qualified faculty candidate for a vacant position for the Fall of 2025. The appointment is for a full-time, tenure track position.

DEPARTMENT: The School of Education serves approximately 350 undergraduate and graduate students. The department offers programs in undergraduate and graduate education including Elementary, Middle, Secondary, P-12, ESL, LBD, Literacy, and Educational Leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach 24-25 credit hours in an academic year as well as other duties assigned including advising. The successful candidate will provide leadership in advancing the department’s English as a Second Language programs. Primary responsibilities include teaching in person and online for both undergraduate and graduate courses.
ACADEMIC RANK: Tenure track; Assistant Professor, salary is competitive with comparable institutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Terminal degree in a field related to English as a Second Language (ESL). The successful candidate will be expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate ESL courses contributing to the preparation of future educators and leaders in diverse educational settings. Preference is given to candidates prepared to teach graduate-level research courses covering qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research design and analysis.
COMPENSATION: Compensation is competitive and dependent upon education and experience.
