TH 250 Foundations in Christian Thought: This particular study abroad course “Italy” immerses students into the culture and history of Italy in order to discover the foundational knowledge traditionally learned in TH 250 Foundations of Christian Thought. If offers experience at sites where Christian theology took hold and found application. Historical and theological sites are studied as samples of Christian Thought and visited for first-hand theological learning.
ENG 205 Literature and Culture: A survey of selected literature of the Western World from the ancients to the present. This particular iteration of the course studies Dante Alighieri’s Purgatorio, Michelangelo Buonarotti’s poetry, and William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Sites visited will follow the lives of Dante and Michelangelo and the writings of Shakespeare.
