Intercultural Studies in Jordan

ICS 393 Seminar Jordan Project: This program integrates the practical experience of a short-term, cross-cultural assignment with directed, academic research. The course is carried out in connection with an approved agency such as a mission board, national church ministry, inner-city outreach, etc. In this case, the partner agency is The Church of the Nazarene in Amman, Jordan. Students will participate in the life of the church, including attending services, working in the thrift store, attending and assisting in English courses, etc. In addition, we will visit major sites of historical significance, including Wadi Rum and Petra.

  • Eligible for Cross-Cultural Engagement Requirement (CCE 150EX)
