Barbara is an Assistant Professor of Middle and Secondary Education with a BA in Secondary Education English (‘92), an MA in Literacy (’13), an MAEd in Teacher Leadership (’15), and an EdD in Literacy, Culture, & Language Education at Indiana University (’22). As a certified Reading Specialist, she enjoyed more than a decade of teaching in both public and private schools before becoming a teacher educator. She and her husband, Glenn (’91), enjoy traveling and spending time together with their children, Abby (’17), Zac (’21), and Katy (’22).
