I am so excited to be here at Asbury, getting to work my dream job!! I spent 25 years working at the University of Kentucky in both the Children’s Hospital & the Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Clinic and 3 years working in the schools of Fayette County as a school nurse. Originally, from north east Ohio, I have called Lexington, Kentucky home for over 28 years. I enjoy spending time with my family; my husband, John, of 25 years and my 2 grown sons, Tanner & Blake. I love to travel, read & shop in my spare time and also, hang out with friends, drinking coffee. In the summer, you’ll find me volunteering at Indian Summer Camp, a camp for kids with cancer, being a camp nurse. Nursing has never been just a job to me; it’s also been my ministry. I love taking care of the physical needs of people, truly being the hands and feet of Jesus.
