Kyle Yarrow is a Lexington native but is currently living in Frankfort with his wife and two children. Kyle attended Eastern Kentucky University and graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation & Park Administration. He is also currently working towards a master’s degree in Outdoor Education Leadership at Prescott College. After graduating from EKU, he worked with a campus ministry for three years, sharing the gospel with college students in the States and overseas. After his ministry, he worked in the outdoor adventure education field, where he got his Professional Environmental Education certification through the Kentucky Environmental Education Council. In addition to being Adventure Education & Leadership’s full-time faculty, Kyle also serves on the Kentucky Association of Environmental Education (KAEE) board of directors. Kyle currently holds certifications in NOLS Wilderness First Responder, Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor, KAEE Facilitator, Project WET, WILD, and Learning Tree Facilitator, BICP’s Ride Leader, and National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s (NCMW) Mental Health First Aid. His study interests are in experiential learning, trauma-informed care, environmental education and literacy, and outdoor stewardship.
