Papers

    • Paper submission is required for the cash prize competition
    • Papers require faculty sponsorship as it is expected that a faculty member will have assisted you in editing your paper for the competition
    • A panel of faculty from a variety of disciplines will blind-review the papers to determine the award winners using the rubric on the SEARCH website.
    • Awards will be announced at the Academic Honors Convocation Chapel

Posters

    • Posters can be printed in either a 3’ x 2’ or 4’ x 3’ size. 
    • Font no smaller than Arial 24 pt
    • Title central and clear
    • Include the AU logo, your name, and your faculty sponsor’s name on your poster
    • Poster-only submissions are not eligible for awards
    • Group project work is allowed for poster-only submissions

Student Showcase Presentations

  • You must plan to be present with your poster for the duration of the Student Showcase (8:00 – 9:30 pm)
  • Practice some remarks about your poster/research so that you will be ready to share during the event
  • Dress is professional business attire for the event
