Nothing is sweeter than a summer night filled with baseball, live music and fellowship. You can enjoy all of these things and more during Asbury University’s Faith & Family Night (July 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington).
Sponsored by Asbury, the eighth annual Faith & Family Night will feature a Lexington Legends baseball game, an exciting firework show and an energetic and meaningful time of worship. Returning to Faith & Family Night after headlining the event in 2016 is top Christian band 7eventh Time Down, known for anthemic, radio-rotated hits like “God is on the Move,” “Just Say Jesus” and “Only King Forever.”
The event may sell out, so be sure to obtain your individual or group tickets as soon as possible at LexingtonLegends.com.
Faith & Family Night is one of the highest-attended events during the Lexington Legends season and draws Asbury students, staff and alumni as well as youth and adult church groups — 30 groups attended in 2017 — from all over the state.
The kids can look forward to contests, prize giveaways and fun games in between innings. Last year, the University offered $10,000 in scholarships throughout the evening.
