Pitts Center and Journalism Department Collaborate in Welcoming David French to Campus

Asbury University’s Journalism Department and the Joe Pitts Center for Public Policy will host David French for a series of events on Feb. 23, 2024. French is an author, professor, New York Times columnist, and co-teacher of a new online course by Redeeming Babel called The After Party: Toward Better Christian Politics.

“We’re thrilled to have David French visit campus,” said Professor of Journalism Rich Manieri. “He is an important voice on how Christians can be part of the public discourse while keeping our focus on the hope found in Jesus.”

French will visit campus for Chapel for the ‘Faith & Culture Series’ on Feb. 23, livestreamed at asbury.edu/livechapel, followed by a talkback for students at 3 p.m. in the Miller Screening Room and an evening event open to the public at 7 p.m. in the Walt and Rowena Shaw Collaborative Learning Center, livestreamed below.
