Nov 5, 2021 — On October 26, SEARCH held an event titled “Voyage to the Galapagos: A Perspective on Faith and Evolution” hosted by Professor of Biology Dr. Ben Brammell and Professor of English Dr. Ben Strait as part of SEARCH’s Christianity and Science program. On November 2, the Kinlaw Library hosted a SEARCH-sponsored panel event titled “Curious Minds: Research in Today’s World” with Janet Dean, professor of psychology, Sean Gaffney and associate professor in the Media, Journalism & Digital Storytelling department.

Asbury Premieres College Tour Episode on Campus

Nov 2, 2021 — Asbury University's The College Tour episode can now be streamed online at asbury.edu/collegetour. In celebration of Asbury’s nationally-streamed television show episode, the university hosted a fun, in-chapel campus event which included complimentary popcorn and a live-streamed appearance of the show’s host, Alex Boylan, who interacted with Asbury President, Dr. Kevin Brown.

Asbury University Announces Tuition Guarantee for Kentucky Pell Grant-Awarded Students

Oct 28, 2021 — Asbury University is committed to making Christian higher education possible for all Kentucky students who desire a private, Christian college degree, regardless of their economic situation. Starting Fall 2022, Asbury will guarantee 100% tuition coverage for any first-time freshmen students from Kentucky who receive federal Pell Grant assistance and have a minimum of a 3.0 high school cumulative GPA.

Asbury University Honors Program Welcomes Speaker Chris Bounds at Inaugural Event

Oct 27, 2021 — The Asbury University Honors Program (AUHP) held its inaugural event – the first of a three-part lecture series on human dignity and value. Dr. Chris Bounds, professor of Christian doctrine at Indiana Wesleyan University, Wesley Seminary, and former Asbury professor, gave a lecture titled “The Imago Dei, Incarnation, and Human Dignity” for 80 guests in the Kinlaw Library Boardroom at the SEARCH-sponsored event.
