In both the Old Testament and New Testament, we see that humans are prone to have expectations of God, expecting the supernatural, the surreal, and the sublime in order to prove God's presence in our midst. But more often than not, we see God move and work in the mundane—in life's quiet, unimpressive moments, where no one is looking. What if we were more intentional to see God dwelling among us? What if we stopped looking past God's goodness in search of his glory and paused and recognized him in the seemingly mundane moments of life?
