To start off Great Commission Congress week at Asbury University, Shawn Casselberry, Executive Director of Mission Year, Chicago, Ill., spoke to the student body about cities, injustice, homelessness, brokenness, and grace.
This morning during Chapel, Rev. Esther Jadhav, Director of Intercultural Programs at Asbury University, spoke about not giving up being faithful, good and true, and good news.
Micah Bournes, a Musician/Spoken Word Poet, spoke during Chapel to the student body about white privilege, uniformity, unity, diversity, and the image of God.
This morning in Chapel, both Dr. Paul Nesselroade & Dr. Corrie Merricks spoke to the student body about an unmerciful servant, pay, merit, grace, mercy, acceptance, freedom and God's mission in the world.
Today Donnita Travis, Founder & Executive Director of By the Hand Club for Kids of Chicago, Ill., spoke to the student body about under resourced neighborhoods, inner-city, every life matters, and loving like God.
Today Dr. Ben Witherington, the Jean R. Amos Professor of New Testament for Doctoral Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, spoke to the student body of Asbury University about the universe, books of nature, science, biblical religion, human dignity, exploring, and the cosmos.
