These online training resources are available to all faculty, staff, and students via service.asbury.edu. Our 50+ classrooms feature technologies designed to enhance the learning experience of our student body. Asbury University recognizes that technology is an integral part of education. Technology resources for education continue to evolve and offer an ever-growing ability to provide classroom resources that enhance student experience and learning. I.T. Services features a team of staff and student professionals who continually support and oversee the implementation of technology into our learning spaces while supporting faculty and students in their use. Submit questions about learning spaces through the Request Support form above.
I.T. Services equips all classroom learning environments with basic features. This typically includes a document camera, DVD player, a control system, a sound system, and either a large TV Screen or video projector. Select rooms are more tailored towards certain pedagogical needs and will include multiple projectors, audio reinforcement, SMART boards, and other equipment better suited for certain departments and schools. Campus conference rooms are typically outfitted with a basic display system, typically in the form of a large TV or projector. Campus auditoriums are configured to feature professional sound and video systems for use by trained I.T. Services staff only. All campus learning spaces require reservation prior to use.
I.T. Services is happy to schedule a time with anyone presenting in a Learning Space on campus to go over the features of the room. Please use the Request Support form to submit your request for training to I.T. Services. One of our support staff will schedule a time to meet you in the space and train you on the use of the different pieces of technology in that specific room.
