Asbury’s Psychology department delivers a high-quality education, with many guest lecturers and events, in an encouraging and intimate atmosphere grounded in the Wesleyan perspective of orthodox Christianity. Students gain a rich understanding of psychology, from its philosophical underpinnings to its contemporary scientific findings. Our Psychology graduates score on average in the top 15% on nationally normed content tests (about 40% are in the top 10%) and have close to a 100% acceptance rate into graduate programs.

Upper-level undergraduate students studying psychology at Asbury can apply for the Moulton Scholars Program. A limited number of students are accepted each year. If accepted, students are eligible to receive grant monies from the Moulton Endowed Scholarship Fund for their junior and senior years. These funds are added to existing financial aid awards.

Our students are ‘on the go’ visiting and volunteering at various Central Kentucky psychology-related and also traveling abroad in locations like Germany and Poland as part of the Human Dignity Tour.
