The Asbury Review

The Asbury Review, Asbury University’s biannual literary magazine, publishes poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, screenplays, and visual art from Asbury University undergraduate students and emerging writers. In addition, every aspect of the publishing process — from soliciting and selecting submissions to graphic design layout — is managed by Asbury undergraduates under the direction of their faculty advisor, Professor Rachel Rinehart.

The Asbury Review has grown and evolved since its inauguration in the 1940s, but its mission is the same: to foster an authentic student voice by publishing genuine, vulnerable, diverse, and well-crafted student stories. To promote this vision, The Asbury Review hosts all-campus events throughout the semester. To stay up-to-date on Asbury Review events, learn more about staff applications, and get a glimpse into The Asbury Review community, find the publication on Instagram @theasburyreview.
