Asbury University’s Science & Health department is known for a rigorous academic program that leaves students well-prepared for the steps ahead. Students in the Science & Health majors enjoy faculty mentorship, and highly personalized research opportunities on campus and at other research centers around the world.
Foundations courses prepare our science students to engage culture and maintain social responsibility, while each of the majors and minors in the department prepare students for a life of productive learning and living in scientific discovery! In 2024, Asbury had a record number of students receive admittance into M.D. and Ph.D. programs in the sciences.

The Shaw Collaborative Learning Center (CLC) is home to the Shaw School of Sciences, providing eleven laboratories dedicated to eDNA research, cell and molecular biochemistry, ecology and environmental science, physics, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, instrumentation, biology preparation, chemistry preparation, and collaborative innovation.
