Sara Brewer headshot, Asbury psychology alum Sara Brewer '24, worked with Professor of Biology Dr. Ben Brammell on several projects related to the use of environmental DNA (eDNA) in the detection of aquatic organisms.

The Shaw Collaborative Learning Center (CLC) is home to the Shaw School of Sciences, providing eleven laboratories dedicated to eDNA research, cell and molecular biochemistry, ecology and environmental science, physics, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, instrumentation, biology preparation, chemistry preparation, and collaborative innovation.

The Walt and Rowena Shaw Collaborative Learning Center is equipped with research laboratories, classrooms and collaborative working spaces that allow students to further their research and learn from professors and peers alike.
Asbury’s technology-driven biology labs result in students who are familiar with the tools and machinery they’ll encounter in graduate programs and their careers.

Mission Farm Project is self-sustaining farm and located on Asbury University’s Equine Farm. It is used to train students in cross-cultural agriculture settings.
