Student Showcase

Submission Guidelines

Papers

• Individual paper submission is required for the cash prize competition.
• Group paper submissions are allowed but not eligible for cash prizes. The winning group paper submission will be honored at the Academic Honors Convocation.
• Papers require faculty sponsorship as it is expected that a faculty member will have assisted you in editing your paper for the competition.
• A panel of faculty from a variety of disciplines will blind-review the papers to determine the award winners using the scoring rubric.
• Awards will be announced at the Academic Honors Convocation Chapel.
• Your name should only appear on the title page of your submission.

Posters

• Posters can be printed in either a 3’ x 2’ or 4’ x 3’ size. 
• Font no smaller than Arial 24-point
• Title must be central and clear.
• Include the AU logo, your name, and your faculty sponsor’s name on your poster.
• Poster-only submissions are not eligible for awards.
• All paper submissions are expected to also submit a poster submission on the same topic.

Student Showcase Presentations

• You must plan to be present with your poster for the duration of the Student Showcase (8 – 9:30 p.m.).
• Practice some remarks about your poster/research so that you will be ready to share during the event.
• Dress is professional business attire for the event.

Submit Your Project

Your responses will be published as submitted, so please be sure to check for errors.

You may be the primary author on only one individual paper submission. Group paper submissions must be submitted as separate submissions. Reminder: Your name should only appear on the title page of your submission. Email search@asbury.edu with questions.
