Your online Asbury Checklist updates in real time to tell you what we still need you to do, so keep an eye on it! Go to asbury.edu/asburychecklist and log in using your Asbury application credentials:
You will receive your Asbury email at the end of April and it will be sent to the email you used for your application. Once you receive your new Asbury email, be sure to check it regularly. Read instructions on setting up your Asbury email address. To log in, go to asbury.edu/my and visit “Asbury Email”.
If you haven’t accepted your financial aid offer yet, do that now in the Asbury Portal, our online portal for class registration, financial aid and more. You can find the Asbury Portal at My Asbury (asbury.edu/my) and log in to the Portal with your Asbury email address and password. Read more instructions on the Asbury Portal.
If you have accepted your offer, don’t forget to sign the promissory note and complete your entrance counseling for any loans you will receive. You can get more information from the Financial Aid Office.
Submit your Housing Preference Form (access on your Asbury Checklist). For students living on campus, this allows the Housing Office to use your residence hall and roommate preferences as they make housing assignments for the new school year, and for students planning to live off campus, this submits your petition to live off campus.
Do you have college credit through dual credit classes, AP, CLEP, IB, etc.? If so, please let us know by May 20 (or as soon as possible afterwards)! You can submit your dual credit through Transferology. We’ll also need final & official transcripts from all universities where you have received college credit.
Where to find it: View the instructions for submitting credit through Transferology here.
In order to enroll in classes and move to campus, you will be required to provide your medical information to the health services clinic in the Center for Wholeness and Wellness. Submit the Health History Form online – including copies of your health insurance card and immunization record – to prepare the clinic for your arrival on campus. Please note that you may need to schedule an appointment with your doctor to get the most updated information.
Where to find it: Access your Health History Form and upload documentation through your Asbury Checklist at asbury.edu/asburychecklist. Log in with the (non-Asbury) email address and password you used to create your Asbury application. If you applied through Common App, check your email for instructions on how to set up your Asbury Checklist account.
Final copies of your official transcripts are required once all of your most recent semester grades have been posted. Final official transcripts from high school must include the graduation date, including month, day and year.
Official transcripts from a high school can be sent by mail from the school or ordered through Parchment. Official transcripts from a college/university can be sent by mail from the institution or electronically through getmytranscript.com. Homeschool transcripts can be emailed from the parent email address if they have been signed.
Final official transcripts must be sent directly from the school to Asbury’s Admissions Office. Transcripts that are given to the student and then delivered to Asbury will not be counted as official. Review the items on your Asbury Checklist to see if we still need a final official transcript for your record.
A series of actions that we call New Semester Check-In is required of every Asbury student for each semester in which they are enrolled. This includes signing up for your meal plan, selecting a payment plan for the year and registering your car to receive a parking permit. New Semester Check-In is available 1-2 weeks after your spring class schedule has been posted.
Where to find it: To complete New Semester Check-In, log in to the Asbury Student Portal with your Asbury email address and password. You can find the Student Portal and your email account at My Asbury (note that the Student Portal is different from your Asbury Checklist).
Your residence hall and roommate for your first year at Asbury are assigned by the Housing Office based on your submitted Housing Preference Form. Once assignments are complete–usually in early December–the information will be posted to your Asbury Student Portal account and you will be notified by email. Please be aware that the notification may go to your new Asbury email address.
Where to find it: To view your housing and roommate assignment, log in to the Asbury Student Portal, found at My Asbury. Use your Asbury email address and password to log in.
