Dual Credit & Transfer Credit Instructions

Do you have college credit through dual credit classes, AP, CLEP, IB, etc.? You can now submit your credit directly to us through the Transferology system!

Just follow the below instructions to submit your credit. Make sure you click the “Send to Asbury University” button in Step 5!

Step 1

Go to the Asbury Transferology landing page and click the “Sign Up” button to create a Transferology account.

Step 2

After creating an account, click the “Will my courses transfer?” button.

Step 3

Enter the name of the school that granted your credit. (Tip: Your high school may have offered dual credit courses in partnership with a university. You should enter that university’s name instead of your high school name.) If you have credit through a standardized test like the AP, CLEP, or IB, click the “Standardized Exams” tab to enter those credits.

Step 4

Once you’ve selected your school/test, search for your course. Then, click the plus button next to the course to add it to “My Courses.” Repeat this for every course you’d like to add. Once you’ve added all your courses, click “Search for Matches.”

Step 5

You’ll now see how your credits match to courses at Asbury University. Some courses may not automatically match—that’s okay, we’ll match those manually later. Now, click the “Request Information” button in the right-hand sidebar.

Step 6

Check the “Admissions” checkbox and include your name and any other information you’d like to share in the Custom Message text area. Then, click the “Send to Asbury University” button. Congratulations, you’re done! The Registrar’s Office will evaluate your credits and reach out if they have any questions.
