Experience life at Asbury! Our thoughtful Visit Events are created to help you feel like an Asbury student and see what life is like on campus.
You’ll meet current students, interact with professors, worship in Chapel, stay in the Residence Halls, explore academic programs and attend informative seminars. Preview Events also include special sessions for parents, like the Financial Aid Seminar. Or, choose a focused visit designed for your specific interests.
Scholarship Competition is an invitation-only event for our distinguished academic students who qualify to compete for our top merit scholarships. In addition to competing for scholarships, students will have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the academic, spiritual and social life at Asbury while connecting with future classmates and professors.
During the Salvation Army Visit Weekend, you’ll experience the Asbury community firsthand. Explore majors, attend classes, worship in chapel, meet professors, students, spend the night in a residence hall, and spend time with Salvationists on campus.
With a challenging academic atmosphere and close-knit community, Asbury is the perfect next step for homeschooled high schoolers. At Homeschool Visit Day, meet with professors, tour campus and connect with current Asbury students who were homeschooled.

Open to all students, particularly to future Media Communication or Theatre majors, this weekend event will familiarize you with Asbury’s campus and Media Communication and Theatre programs. You’ll have the opportunity to attend Asbury’s Engaging Culture Seminars and Highbridge Film Festival highlighting student films.

Visit events are free to attend! In addition, we will cover the cost of group meals for visiting student and family members.
All high school students are encouraged to attend our visit events. College students interested in transferring to Asbury are also invited. Scholarship Competition is by invitation only.
Visit events during the fall semester restrict overnight stays to senior and transfer students only. Visit events during the spring semester restrict overnight stays to juniors, seniors, and transfer students. Regardless of year in school, you must be at least 16 years to stay overnight in the residence halls. Students who are juniors but not 16 years old will not be allowed to stay on-campus overnight. Additionally, students older than 24 years will not be allowed to stay overnight. Parents and other visitors are encouraged to stay at a local hotel or bed & breakfast, some of which offer a special rate for Asbury visitors.
If you are staying overnight in a residence hall, bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel and any necessary toiletries. You may be sleeping on the floor of a dorm room, so bring whatever you need to be comfortable. If you are attending our Equine Event, bring appropriate farm footwear.

Parents are invited to attend all parts of the event including the Campus Tour, Classes, Chapel and Meals, but are not required to attend. Most events also include a Financial Aid Seminar specifically for parents.
