Welcome Weekend is designed to introduce all of our incoming students to their new Asbury campus and its resources, and fellowship with their new community! The weekend holds your first tentative “hellos,” your excited “see you soons,” and so much in between.
Each day offers new activities, such as moving into your room, faculty meet-and-greets, worship, “Thriving at AU” workshops, and plenty of chances to make new friends by hanging out with your dedicated First Year Experience (FYE) group. All full-time new and transfer students in the traditional undergraduate program — both residential and commuter students — are expected to attend.
Once you become familiar with our campus, your friends, and your first-semester courses, you’ll be able to meet all returning students at the highly anticipated annual Welcome Back Bash, a campus party on Reasoner Green with food trucks, games, and other fun activities!
Welcome Weekend is many things — fun, informative, life-changing — but it’s also fully packed with things to do. Here’s a schedule of what to expect once you arrive on campus.
We want you to feel prepared for move-in day! Here are five things to do before you arrive in Wilmore, Ky., for Welcome Weekend:

Housing assignments for all deposited new students will be sent to your Asbury email by mid-July. You’ll want to make sure you make your pre-tuition deposit and fill out a Housing Preference Form by June 10th in order to receive your assignment by this time. Rooms are assigned in the order that deposits are received. Sorry, but there are no exceptions to this.
If you have questions, please contact the Housing Office.
