April 4, 2023 — In March, professor of theology Dr. Brian Shelton ’89 traveled to Italy and Greece to teach a humanities course for Rome With Purpose, an organization that provides a Christian study abroad experience for U.S. university students.

November 22, 2022 — On November 17, Sam Powdrill and Dr. Stan Pletcher from EyeMobil Innovations spoke to the Asbury community about their new EPIC II Operating Microscope, which provides ophthalmologists with a portable microscope that makes the cure to cataract blindness accessible to the most remote parts of the globe.
November 15, 2022 — On Wednesday, November 16, at 7:30 p.m., renowned theologian N.T. Wright will speak in Hughes Auditorium as part of Asbury Theological Seminary’s centennial celebration.
October 31, 2022 — Dr. Joy Vaughan, assistant professor of New Testament at Asbury University, published a new article contrasting miracles with magical practices in Acts 19.
October 17, 2022 — Asbury Professor of New Testament Dr. Suzanne Nicholson spoke at LeTourneau University’s chapel service on October 12, as part of LeTourneau’s Justice Week. Nicholson received her Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from the University of Durham in England and her M.Div. at Asbury Theological Seminary.
October 17, 2022 — Dr. Brian Hull, professor of pastoral and Christian ministries at Asbury University, co-wrote a new book, Youth Ministry as Mission: A Conversation About Theology and Culture, with Dr. Patrick Mays, professor of Christian ministry and campus pastor at LeTourneau University. Kregel Publishing launched the book in July of 2022.
